By using Rempart, you accept the terms below. If you disagree with any of them, do not use the service.

1. Nature of the service

Rempart is a comparison interface. The service queries several cross-chain aggregation protocols, presents their routes (estimated amount, fees, duration, protocols used) and lets you choose one. Rempart is neither an exchange, nor a custodian, nor a financial intermediary: no funds pass through the service.

2. Execution by third-party protocols

Swap execution is handled by third-party protocols (LI.FI, Relay, among others), through their own smart contracts and under their own terms of use. The protocol executing each route is always displayed before signature. Rempart exercises no control over these protocols and is not answerable for their operation, their fees or any failures on their part.

3. No investment advice

The information displayed (routes, amounts, fees, durations) is provided purely for informational and comparative purposes. It constitutes neither investment advice, nor a recommendation, nor a solicitation to buy or sell crypto-assets.

4. No guarantee on amounts and timings

The amounts received, fees and durations displayed are estimates provided by the providers at quote time. They may vary between display and execution (market conditions, congestion, slippage). Rempart guarantees neither the amount finally received, nor the execution time, nor the completion of a swap.

5. Crypto-asset risks

Crypto-assets are volatile and on-chain transactions are irreversible. Smart contracts, including those of third-party protocols, may contain vulnerabilities. By using the service, you acknowledge that you understand these risks and accept them in full.

6. Service provided "as is"

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, Rempart shall not be held liable for direct or indirect losses arising from use of the service, including losses of funds linked to the execution of a swap by a third-party protocol.

7. Wallet custody

You are solely responsible for the custody of your wallet, your private keys and your seed phrase, as well as for checking every transaction before signing. Rempart never asks for your private keys and cannot restore access to a lost or compromised wallet.

8. Tokenized equities and similar assets

Some networks list tokens that represent equities, ETFs or other financial instruments issued by third parties (for example on Robinhood Chain). Rempart displays them exactly like any other token of the network's public catalogue and neither issues, holds, brokers nor recommends them. These instruments are securities in most jurisdictions: their availability, ownership and transfer may be restricted or prohibited where you live (they are, for instance, not offered to US persons by their issuer). It is solely your responsibility to check, before any transaction, that you are legally allowed to acquire or dispose of such an asset in your jurisdiction. Rempart provides no brokerage or investment service of any kind on these instruments.
